Hamilton has been for a new set of Pirelli C3 boots. In total, the Mercedes lads have turned in 116 laps - just two shy of Verstappen's current total.
While we're imagining one Arrows, Ricciardo's Renault and its all-black scheme reminds us of another - this time from 1998.

Daniil Kvyat returns to the circuit in his white-and-navy AlphaTauri, equipped with C2 tyres. Although I see four, not just two...
Sainz is rather enjoying his long runs on the harder compounds, and the Spanish driver has pitted, bolted on a fresh set, and gone out again. He's now on lap no. 111.
Hamilton's into the pits after a couple of practice starts, and gives a pop-up cone a bit of a boot before returning to his garage.
We've not seen much from Ferrari this afternoon. The SF1000 has spent a long time sat in the garage - or if you're feeling less lah-di-dah, the car-hole this afternoon.
Leclerc is now out of his garage and back on the track. Less reason to be worried for Ferrari fans, presumably.
Hamilton now goes quicker still, doing a 1m16.978s on a set of C2 tyres.
Bad news for fans of the Ferrari F2004's lap records at Albert Park, Bahrain and Monza: Renault's Esteban Ocon has had his say on the 2020 cars, and reckons that this year's crop have more grip than any before it. He also added that "We're going to probably break all the records of lap times this year." Sounds ominous...
Ocon has never felt as much grip as with 2020 F1 car

No, it's not the new Racing Point painted silver. It's the man currently top of the time-sheets.

Sainz has joined Verstappen in the 130-lap club on what has been a proper day's work for McLaren. Meanwhile, Leclerc ticks over the 100-lap mark in the Ferrari, the third driver to do so today.
F1 returns to the Netherlands this year. Red Bull on form + the orange army = Dutch homecoming and a once in a lifetime experience.

Kvyat improves to a 1m17.698s on what appear to be C2s. That moves him to fourth place, just 0.720s off pace-setter Hamilton.
Hamilton returns to the pits after a C2 run during which he posted seven 1m18s in an eight-lap stretch. He then immediately heads back out on track.
Latifi moves up to 12th place on the C3 tyre, getting ahead of Kubica - the very driver he's replaced at Williams.
Ricciardo returns to the pits after a decent run on C2s. His last few laps were: 1m18.838s, 1m19.137s, 1m20.446s, 1m20.503s, 1m20.062s, 1m20.846s.
Following on from Hamilton's 1m18s-heavy run, Verstappen's done four 1m19s to begin his current C2 stint.
Verstappen's run concludes after eight 1m19s laps on the trot.
Only Kvyat is on track now, logging some fairly consistent 1m22s laps on the C2.
Hamilton and Magnussen have joined Kvyat on track, and the reigning champion has come up with a purple S1.
He was off his personal best in S2, but a personal best S3 allows him to improve to a 1m16.976s overall. That's the C2 tyre still.
Hamilton has seriously slowed down in S3, so presumably it's a cooldown lap and he's about to have another proper go.
Hamilton's 'proper go' didn't materialise that time by as he was five seconds down in the first sector. The next time around he comes up with a 1m17.963s, a second off his best.
Verstappen does a personal best in the first sector on C3s, but dips his right wheel in the gravel at Turn 8 and is forced to back out.
A tidier lap the next time around takes Verstappen to fourth place, courtesy of a 1m17.516s.
Hamilton does six laps in a row in the high-1m18s to low-1m19s margin. There's been lost of race simulation running in the afternoon, but only he's been consistently in the 1m18s on consecutive efforts.
And there's just one hour left of day one! Last orders please, gentlemen.
Stroll brings his running to a pause, pulling into the pits after a stint on the C2s. He was running in the 1m22s throughout.
Sainz has bolted on the C3 tyres - well, his mechanics have. His first lap on them was just 0.02s off his best today - and he now comes up to complete his 142nd lap.
Here is the order rundown with just under an hour of day one to go:
1 Hamilton 1m16.976s

3 Perez +0.399s

Red Bull - 157 laps
Mercedes - 151
McLaren - 142
Williams - 128
Alfa Romeo - 115
Ferrari - 114
Renault - 98
Racing Point - 95

Just Verstappen and Giovinazzi are circulating on-track at the moment. Verstappen hits 158 laps, while Giovinazzi has done 100 fewer - although Kubica drove the Alfa this morning.
Of the current grid, Giovinazzi's surname has by far the biggest Scrabble score at 32, some margin ahead of Raikkonen and Verstappen - both on 17. These are the facts you needed to know.
Latifi's gone out with some probes sellotaped to the rear of his car, checking out how the diffuser is performing. The first clause in that sentence sounded a tiny bit rude...
There's a bit more on-track activity in this final 40 minutes - six cars currently lap the field.
