Racing review: All the results
AUTOSPORT brings you the definitive who won what, and where, round-up from throughout the racing world last weekend
A1GP's fourth season has been its most chequered yet, but there was no doubting which nation proved to be the class of the field - as Adam Carroll's Brands Hatch double gave Ireland its first crown by an ultimately comfortable margin.
There were more firsts in Morocco, as the new Marrakech street track hosted the Chevrolet Cruze's first World Touring Car victories thanks to Rob Huff and Nicola Larini, the latter taking his maiden win in the series.
In the two-wheeled world, Valentino Rossi declared that Jerez MotoGP victory would be "impossible" after a low-key qualifying, but then went ahead and won the race anyway, while Bradley Smith ended his long wait for a 125cc win with a dominant success earlier in the day.
Elsewhere, Renger van der Zande popped in to briefly interrupt Daniel Ricciardo's dominance of British Formula 3, Czech newcomer KplusK commenced its FIA GT campaign with a second Tourist Trophy victory for Karl Wendlinger and Ryan Sharp, and Kyle Busch celebrated turning 24 in style with wins in both the Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup races as NASCAR pitched up at Richmond.
