The top 10 BTCC drivers of 2013

Many racers had their moments in a very strong British Touring Car Championship season, but KEVIN TURNER can only pick 10 for his 2013 round-up

The British Touring Car Championship had one of its best seasons in 2013. The racing was close but usually fair, it had a strong entry, and there was a fine title fight that culminated in a worthy new champion.

Andrew Jordan and his Eurotech Honda Civic managed to defeat four previous title winners - works Honda drivers Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden, MG star Jason Plato and returning 2009 champion Colin Turkington - to take the crown at the very final race.

He became Chief Editor in 2020, helping to plan content for autosport.com and Autosport’s podcast as well as seeing the magazine through the coronavirus pandemic. Kevin also led work on the special publication celebrating 70 years of Autosport and has been a judge on the Aston Martin Autosport BRDC Young Driver Award, formerly known as the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award, since 2008. He lives in Warboys with his wife and two children.
