Jones upgrades to Leon for 2008

British Touring Car racer Adam Jones will upgrade to a SEAT Leon for his entry in this year's championship with the GR Asia team

Jones raced a SEAT Toledo in six of the 10 rounds last year, finishing 11th in the championship with his best result a second place at Donington Park in July.

He will step up to a new Leon, which he is due to receive from SEAT Sport in Barcelona shortly before the first round at Brands Hatch on March 30, and will be expected to challenge at the front of the Independent Class.

GR Asia's Paul Ridgeway said: "I'm very pleased to be involved with Adam again for the forthcoming season. I feel we showed how competitive we can be as an independent team in 2007, and we're looking forward to building on that this year."
