Welcome to the new Autosport Racing Podcast, where we take some time to focus beyond Formula 1 across the world of motorsport and, for our first episode, Autosport Editor-In-Chief Kevin Turner sits down with British Touring Car reporter Marcus Simmons and three-time BTCC champion Gordon Shedden.
It's a wide-ranging interview covering nearly 40 minutes on why Shedden's chosen now to return to the BTCC with Toyota Gazoo Racing.
The Scot also reveals the differences between his early impressions of Toyota machinery and the Hondas he took to glory in the 2010s, what the internal feeling was like within Team Dynamics as the team departed the series at the start of 2023, his time in the World Touring Car Cup, and what he thinks would make for a good 2025 season with his BTCC return less than a month away.
