The 2025 British Touring Car Championship season is the focus in the latest Autosport Racing podcast with this weekend’s Croft round set to start the second half of the campaign.

What an opening half it was too, with four-time BTCC champion Ash Sutton and 2022 champion Tom Ingram emerging as the class of the pack. Sutton leads his rival by 10 points, with third-placed Dan Cammish 62 points adrift of Ingram - so, is it a two-horse race for this year’s title?

That gets discussed in the podcast where Autosport Editor-In-Chief Kevin Turner is joined by BTCC correspondent Marcus Simmons and ITV’s BTCC commentator David Addison. They also discuss where the top two have made gains compared to others, as well as whether it is time for team orders to come into play.

Finally, the trio take a deep dive into the surprise names that have impressed this year such as Mikey Doble and Charles Rainford, plus what to expect for the rest of the campaign.
