Adam Morgan tests his Speedworks Toyota British Touring Car for first time
British Touring Car rookie Adam Morgan had his first test in an NGTC Speedworks Motorsport Toyota Avensis last Friday

The 23-year-old, who earned his BTCC place by winning the 2011 Ginetta GT Supercup that supports the series, drove alongside team-mate Tony Hughes in the latter's 2011 machine at Donington Park.
"I spent most of the day in a road car with my driver coach, Paul Taft, getting a feel for front-wheel-drive and learning the best lines, and then at the end of the day I had an hour in the Toyota," said Morgan, whose 2012-specification Avensis is still in build.
"I absolutely loved the car. I covered about 30 laps to get a feel for it, and every lap I gained confidence and some pace. I'm very pleased with how things went."
Speedworks team director Christian Dick added: "Adam quickly got a handle on things. We put no pressure on him but he soon found his feet with the Toyota.
"We have a solid testing schedule prepared for the period up to the start of the season and everything is going according to plan."
The team's testing plan includes two days at Brands Hatch this week, when double BTCC champion James Thompson will drive the car on the first day.
"I can't wait for Brands," added Morgan. "The opportunity to work with James Thompson is just fantastic."
