Formula 1 world champions Nico Rosberg and Nigel Mansell and rising star Lando Norris were among the big winners in Sunday night's Autosport Awards
Autosport Awards
The Autosport Awards are a series of awards presented by motor racing magazine Autosport to drivers that have achieved significant milestones each season. Some of the presentations are selected by the general public via a reader's poll.
The annual end-of-season gala in London celebrated the best of motorsport, with accolades handed out across 14 categories spanning club racing to F1, the majority voted on by Autosport readers.

Rosberg beat now-former Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton to the International Racing Driver of the Year prize and Mansell received the Gregor Grant Award for lifetime achievement in motorsport.
Norris was crowned the latest winner of the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.
BRITISH CLUB DRIVER - LANDO NORRIS
Norris's evening started with victory in the very first award, presented by Force India F1 boss Vijay Mallya.
NATIONAL RACING DRIVER - GORDON SHEDDEN
Shedden pairs a hard-fought, third British Touring Car Championship with a third award for national-level drivers.
PIONEERING AND INNOVATION - FREDERIC SAUSSET
Quadruple amputee racer Frederic Sausset's incredible story and Le Mans 24 Hours programme is recognised with special award.
BRITISH COMPETITION DRIVER - LEWIS HAMILTON
World championship runner-up wins the top prize for British drivers, with brother Nicolas collecting it from Dario Franchitti.
AUTOSPORT WILLIAMS ENGINEER OF THE FUTURE - SAM O'NEILL
Imperial College student O'Neill becomes the second recipient of the award, and is welcomed to Williams by Pat Symonds.
RIDER OF THE YEAR - MARC MARQUEZ
MotoGP champion Marquez becomes the first winner of the new award, with motorcycle racing legends Freddie Spencer and John McGuinness on hand to discuss his achievements.
RALLY DRIVER - SEBASTIEN OGIER
Fourth WRC title leads to fourth Rally Driver of the Year Award for Volkswagen star Ogier.
RALLY CAR - VOLKSWAGEN POLO R WRC
Volkswagen signs off its works programme with recognition for the car that has dominated the WRC since 2013.
INTERNATIONAL RACING DRIVER - NICO ROSBERG
World champion receives standing ovation from the full house on arrival, and later wins the night's top racing prize, handed out by Damon Hill.
RACING CAR - MERCEDES F1 W07 HYBRID
The dominant car again in motorsport in 2016 wore silver, winning 19 of the year's 21 grands prix.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR - PASCAL WEHRLEIN
Manor F1 driver Wehrlein beats strong competition to be named the year's most-impressive newcomer.
JOHN BOLSTER AWARD - PADDY LOWE
A key player in Mercedes' F1 domination, Lowe receives the award from former boss, legendary Williams designer Patrick Head.
GREGOR GRANT AWARD - NIGEL MANSELL
British icon's achievements in F1 and Indycar, and contribution to motorsport, recognised with special award.
McLAREN AUTOSPORT BRDC AWARD - LANDO NORRIS
Second prize of the night for 17-year-old Norris, who wins a place in history along with a McLaren F1 test and paid simulator role.
