Catch ASI on Motors TV
If by some chance of desperate misfortune, you missed out on a visit to last week's fantastic Autosport International Racing Car Show at Birmingham's NEC, don't panic because all is not lost. You can still catch all the highlights of the show on the Motors TV satellite channel this weekend
Autosport International
Autosport International is a four-day event motorsport event that includes a two-day trade show for industry professionals and a two-day public show.
The first showing of the 52-minute programme, hosted by BTCC commentator Ben Edwards and Diana Binks, will be broadcast on Saturday January 22, at 6pm which will then be repeated at 11pm. The channel is also planning to run eight five-minute bulletins featuring exclusive interviews all next week.
The programme covers all aspects of the show. There are exclusive features with high profile Formula 1 names such as Red Bull Racing's David Coulthard, Minardi team boss Paul Stoddart and Ferrari's technical director Ross Brawn who was the speaker at this year's Sid Watkins lecture.
As well as all that, the programme covers all the major international motorsport series prominent at ASI, including the announcement that Brands Hatch will play host to the new A1 GP series in 2005, Gary Paffett's views on the new DTM season and SRO boss Stephane Ratel on the future of the British GT Championship, British Formula 3 and the FIA GT series.
That plus the TVR Sagaris GT racecar launch, a British Touring Car Championship preview including interviews with Luke Hynes, Jason Plato and Matt Neal, as well as a look at the spectacular Live Action Arena, should make the Racing Car Show unmissable viewing. Again.
