SEAT fastest in Marrakech warm-up

SEAT continued its dominance of the Moroccan round of the World Touring Car Championship by sweeping the top three places in the Sunday morning warm-up

The SR Sport cars of Tom Coronel, Tiago Monteiro and Jordi Gene led the way, though pole-sitter Gabriele Tarquini was 20th and last.

BMW showed better than in qualifying when both its factory drivers failed to make Q2 after the session was red-flagged during their quickest laps. Augusto Farfus was fourth quickest this morning with team-mate Andy Priaulx sixth, sandwiching Fredy Barth's SEAT.

The three Chevrolets came next, with Rob Huff, Yvan Muller and Alain Menu seventh, eighth and ninth.

Norbert Michelisz's SEAT completed the top 10, with Franz Engstler the fastest of the independents in 11th, just ahead of local driver Mehdi Bennani.
