S'Production: Rustad takes maiden win
Norwegian Tommy Rustad managed to break a BMW stranglehold in the ETCC Super Production class to take his debut victory in comfortable style at the Nurburgring on Sunday
The former BTCC driver crossed the line in his Nissan Primera 14 seconds ahead of flying Dutchman Peter Kox in second place. Championship leader Duncan Huisman was third.
Norman Simon, who won last time out at the A1-Ring, finished in fourth closely followed by erstwhile Grand Prix driver Gianni Morbidelli in fifth.
Huisman remains seven points clear at the top of the drivers' standings ahead of Kox with two races to go.
