Priaulx on top at Monza

Current WTCC champion Andy Priaulx finished on top of the times on the second day of testing at the Monza circuit on Wednesday

Priaulx set his best time with only two minutes of the final session remaining, outpacing Alfa Romeo's Salvatore Tavano and Augusto Farfus, fastest on the first day.

Jorg Muller and Marcel Costa completed a good day for BMW, finishing as fourth and fifth quickest respectively. Tom Coronel was the fastest SEAT, the privateer Dutchman driver outpacing all the works drivers.

Italian Gabriele Tarquini was forced to miss two of the day's three sessions due to a slight indisposition.

Scottish driver Ryan Sharp made his debut at the wheel of the Honda Accord after signing a deal with JAS Motorsport. He finished as 30th quickest, while teammate Pierre-Yves Corthals was 21st.
