N'Ring FIA GT Race: Wet win for Lister

Jamie Campbell-Walter and Mike Jordan put in an impressive performance to take victory in Sunday's FIA GT race in difficult conditions at a wet Nurburgring

The pair started from a lowly 25th on the grid after a disappointing qualifying performance, but managed to fight their way through the field in their Lister Storm to take the chequered flag first, moving Campbell-Walter into third place in the championship.

The Carsport Holland Viper of Jeroen Bleekemolen and Mike Hezemans finished just 16.640s behind in second place, while the Prodrive Ferrari of Rickard Rydell and Peter Kox had to settle for third after a stop-and-go penalty.

Vincent Vosse and Boris Derichebourg came home fourth in their Paul Belmondo Racing Viper, just ahead of the sister car of Kumpen/Belmondo/Gosselin in fifth position.

Championship leaders Christophe Bouchut and Jean-Philippe Belloc, who are equal at the top of the drivers' standings on 70 points apiece, finished seventh.

The highest-placed N-GT car was the Redolfi Orlando Porsche 996 of Werner/Peter.
