Latest from SS8 of the Rally Finland. Click 'refresh' for latest stage updates

Marcus Gronholm set the fastest time on the opening stage of the second leg of the Rally Finland.

The Peugeot 206 driver therefore extends his lead over the two Subaru's to 5s.

SEAT's Toni Gardemeister had been fastest on the stage at the halfway point, only to spin and stall. He remains 13th.

Also in trouble is Carlos Sainz, given a 10s jump-start penalty, while GpN star Hamed Al Wahaibi is out after smashing his suspension on a rock. He had been 28th.

Newly-crowned British champion Tapio Laukkanen is extending his lead in Formula 2, now 27s ahead of Jarmo Kytolehto.
