SS15 latest: Burns happy with second

Subaru driver Richard Burns believes he will get an advantage from running second on the road at the start of tomorrow.

However, he will have to be careful not to lose another place to Tommi Makinen, the Finn charging back into contention after his earlier delay and setting the fastest time on SS15.

Carlos Sainz is lucky to still be in touch with the leaders, having suffered four punctures on the last stage. He now has a severe shortage of spare rubber for the last test of the day.

Juha Kankkunen had even less luck, going off the road and losing two minutes. He stays ahead of Harri Rovanpera in fifth, but is now out of contention for a top three placing unless bad luck strikes the frontrunners.
