Service F, Felindre: Notes, quotes
Marcus Gronholm (Peugeot) - leader: "Yes it was good so far this morning - no mistakes. I heard Auriol was off, but it makes no difference to what I do. I'll try to go steady and I'm driving a little more safely than yesterday. Resolfen was fine, there wasn't so much fog."
(Subaru) - second, +57.3s: "It was a bit foggy but it doesn't make any difference. I am happy with my speed and it's comfortable."
(Peugeot) - third, +59.3s: "There wasn't very much fog and I'm not pushing so hard. I'm trying not to make a mistake. I'm braking quite early and not taking any big cuts."
(Ford) - fourth, +2:45.5s: "I don't know how much time the puncture cost me."
(Hyundai) - fifth, +3:09.1s: "We lost all front diff pressure leaving service. It made the car quite difficult to drive, especially under braking. We had quite a few moments, I thought we'd have lost a lot more time. The diff is more of a hydraulic problem, so hopefully we'll sort it."
(Skoda) - sixth, +4:25.3s: "For me it was just right, we had a good run. I said to Manfred at the end of the stage that I could have gone on for another 20km."
(Ford) - eighth, +4:40.7s: "I lost fourth gear about a quarter of the way into the stage and then fifth gear went."
(Mitsubishi) - ninth, +4:46.3s: Update - Loix has broken shock absorbers and did the last 15km of SS9 without third or fifth gear.
(Peugeot) - 10th, +5:24.1s: "Okay, I missed the braking at a left junction. I arrived at high-speed - about 195kph - and we were in a ditch. I got stuck and the spectators helped. I let Carlos past. It's okay, but it's gone now."
(Skoda) - 12th, +5:52.0s: "It's much better now with the diff after we changed it last night. I have more confidence with the car and the only problem was brakes towards the end. The pedals were hard but there was no bite."
