Manlleu service: The drivers speak
Didier Auriol (Peugeot) leader: "On the first stage I had a big moment, so the time wasn't too good. It was a right-hand corner. I cut to the inside and just after the corner the car went sideways. I stayed flat and nearly spun the other way. I was staring straight at the rock face, but I stayed flat again and the car snapped back into line. [On his prospects of winning?] Now we have a good chance."
"We are attacking hard and I'm pleased to be so close to Tommi's times when he is pushing hard as well."
Lost time with punctures in both SS14 and SS15. "We are finding it difficult with times at the moment."
Picked up a 10-second penalty for a jump start on SS15. "It's so hard, the clutch is like a switch."
"We lost time in that last stage - I don't think I pushed hard enough in the middle part of the stage - so now I'm even further back than I was this morning. I don't think I can find another 10-seconds-per-stage."
His turbo's wastegate is sticking again, though not as badly as it did yesterday. Had bad clutch slip in first kilometre of SS13, but it then cleared.
Retired in service after a string of electronic and gearbox problems.
