Leg Two's running order decided

Rally Australia's leading drivers have chosen their starting order for Leg Two's stages, with overall leader Marcus Gronholm unsurprisingly opting to let all of his rivals to start ahead of him

Starting down the running order ensures that the road ahead has been swept clear of slippery gravel by the frontrunners. So the defending world champion and winner of the this event last year will start Saturday's six main stages in 14th place, with Richard Burns and Didier Auriol opting for the 13th and 12th slots.

Fourth-placed Colin McRae would have likely opted for 11th on the road, however he arrived late for the selection meeting and, bar his Ford team launching a successful appeal, he'll start Saturday's stages in the worst possible road position - first.

Harri Rovanpera gladly took that 11th spot, with the remaining positions taken up by Tommi Makinen, Petter Solberg, Gilles Panizzi, Freddy Loix, Francois Delecour, Carlos Sainz, Alister McRae, his team mate Kenneth Eriksson and Subaru's Toshi Arai.
