Citroen sure set-up change will solve Sebastien Loeb's issues after Argentina spins

Loeb spun his DS3 WRC three times on the morning's two tests and arrived back in Villa Carlos Paz in fourth place, 34.8 seconds off leader Petter Solberg.

"This morning was not normal for Sebastien," said Matton. "We are really not used to seeing this kind of thing from him - but at least it shows that he is human..."

Loeb had tested a new set-up for the Citroen ahead of the event and elected to run with it on the opening loop. The car developed more oversteer at the exit of corners, which was what caused Loeb's spins and subsequent time loss in South America.

"Sebastien took the set-up because it worked in the test," said Matton, "but this afternoon we will come back to the normal Sebastien Loeb set-up. This set-up was a little bit different from normally how he would run it.

"The changes we have made are in the dampers and in the differential. As well as this, the roads have more camber than we expected, so maybe this made the set-up more difficult for the morning."
