12h21m Action in the pits at the Felbermayr Porsche #88 comes in with a puncture and damage. Nick Tandy is at the controls and it is wheeled into the garage for repairs.
12h22m Anthony Davidson is putting on a spurt, having recently climbed aboard the #7 Peugeot. That car remains in fourth place, but the Briton is on it, turning laps in the 3m30s bracket.
12h23m The #10 is in for routine service and Loic Duval rejoins the action still in eighth place.
12h25m Action at Peugeot and the #8 is in from third position. Stephane Sarrazin takes fuel only and heads back out into the darkness.
12h26m Just been shown a picture of what was left of Mike Rockenfeller's car.
12h28m All we can say is Audi can be very proud they kept him safe. We are still trying to get information on Rocky's condition.
12h29m Pagenaud has got the gap down to 1m46s now. Treluyer is lapping in 3m37s bracket at the moment.
12h30m The leader is in for a stop.
12h31m Into the pits comes the #55 BMW from sixth place in GTE Pro. Jorg Muller remains on board and heads back out onto the circuit.
12h31m Treluyer hands over to Marcel Fassler. New tyres and diesel.
12h31m That stop means that Pagenaud is now in the lead on merit.
12h32m So it's Peugeot #9 from Audi #2 then Peugeots #7 and #8.
12h33m Jan Magnussen brings the class leading #74 in and hands over to ex-Porsche Supercup champion Richard Westbrook. The Briton is down and away to defend Corvette's advantage.
12h34m Pagenaud has now stretched the lead to 12s as Fassler does a 3m43.523s outlap.
12h34m Tommy Milner is second in class in the sister #73 Corvette, with the #59 Luxury Racing Ferrari in third and Gianmaria Bruni fourth in the #51 AF Corse Ferrari after that bodged pitstop a few minutes ago.
12h35m Okay we've heard from Audi and it's what others have been tweeting. Rockenfeller will spend the night in hospital under observation, but he's okay. Extraordinarily good news.
12h36m The #73 Corvette is next onto pit road and Tommy Milner climbs out of the second placed car. Problems here for the crew and they are going for a full change of the front brakes.
12h37m The change continues on the #73 but the job is nearing completion.
12h38m Antonio Garcia has taken over at the wheel of that car and he is eventually down and away after a stop of three minutes.
12h39m That stop for the #73 Corvette promotes Luxury Racing #59 to second place in the GTE Pro category.
12h40m Pagenaud is extending his lead at the front. He's now 18s clear of Fassler, who has yet to get a clear lap in his stint.
12h43m The #60 Gulf AMR Aston Martin has spun and made light contact with the barrier. Michael Wainwright is off to the side of the track.
12h43m Apparently the #64 Lotus Evora, with Jon Hartshorne at the wheel, has stopped at Mulsanne corner.
12h45m Pagenaud in the zone. He's stretched the lead to 20s now. Fassler is slowly dropping away now and into the clutches of Anthony Davidson in the #7 Pug.
12h45m Pagenaud pits for fuel, and returns to the track.
12h45m Followed by Davidson.
12h46m So that puts Fassler back in front again, now we wait for the gap.
12h46m In GTE Am, the #81 Flying Lizard Motorsport Porsche is back at the helm. It is being chased hard by the two Larbre Competition cars.
12h48m The leaders are coming towards the end of the lap, so now we will find out who has gained from that last round of stops.
12h49m So now Pagenaud is 36s behind Fassler.
12h50m That's basically the real gap between the two leaders, we think. Davidson is a further 1m10s back.
12h52m The #55 BMW is on for service again and so is the #59 Luxury Racing Ferrari from second place in GTE Pro.
12h54m Another stop for a GTE Am car as the #61 AF Corse Ferrari is in and out from fourth position, with Marco Cioci at the controls.
12h55m More action in pitlane as the #63 Felbermayr Porsche makes a stop. Christian Reid gets away and is fifth in class.
13h00m The #81 class-leading Flying Lizard Motorsport entry is into the pits and the #70 Larbre Competition Porsche flashes over the line to take the lead in GTE Am.
13h01m The #10 and also the LMP2 leading #48 Oreca have been in for service.
13h02m It is likely that the #41 Greaves Motorsport Zytek will take over the lead in LMP2.
13h03m Also in last time round was the #26 Signatech Nissan with Soheil Ayari behind the wheel, from third place in LMP2.
13h05m Up front, the gap between first and second is now 37 seconds, as Marcel Fassler pushes to try and extend the gap for Audi.
13h07m The #35 Oak Racing machine has been in for what was a lengthy service. It goes back out still in sixth position in the LMP2 category.
