20h35m The #1 remains in the garage and continues to fall behind the leading Peugeot pair.
20h34m There is major work going on at the rear-end of the #1 Audi.
20h33m The #1 is five laps ahead of the #007 Lola-Aston Martin so has some time in hand for this service.

Now it comes down to judgement whether you trust the radar or not. If you were Dr. Ulrich or Olivier Quesnel, would you believe it? Victory in the greatest motor race in the world could depend on it.

20h30m The #1 Audi is back in the pits and in to the garage!
20h28m Allan McNish has made an unexpected stop in the #1 Audi. The team had an electronic problem on that car and were forced to change the steering wheel.

20h21m The #8 Peugeot pits for fuel only. Stephane Sarrazin remains in the cockpit and the Frenchman blasts back into the action.
20h21m The fifth-place ORECA-AIM car has been in the pits for a driver change. Nicolas Lapierre has taken over at the wheel.
20h19m The #9 lead Peugeot has been in and out of the pits. Alex Wurz stayed on board and continues for another 12-lap stint. The gap to the second-placed #8 car is now timed at 1m41s.

20h12m The AMR Eastern Europe Aston Martin continues its strong run in fourth place.
20h12m The #9 Peugeot continues to lead the race over the #8 sister car by just under two minutes, with the Audi #1 with Allan McNish behind the wheel, two laps down in third place.

19h43m Weather-wise, the sky has clouded over considerably in the last few minutes. The rainfall radar still shows showers skirting past Le Mans to the south, but it won't take much for them to edge a few miles north and clip the southern end of the circuit.
19h42m #5 Team Goh has been in for a stop with Keisuke Kunimoto taking over from Sascha Maassen. That car remains three laps behind the Team Essex car in LMP2.
19h39m The #3 Audi has taken a trip through the gravel in the hands of Alexandre Premat. The Frenchman rejoins the circuit quickly, but is expected to pit to have gravel removed from the floor of the car.
19h36m The #007 Lola-Aston Martin has also been in the pits with the recent safety car having lined up all the pitstops once gain.

19h33m The #4 Creation pulls into the pits and to no-one's surprise it is wheeled into the garage for the umpteenth time in the race. A shame really, because Campbell-Walter, Ickx and Iannetta have done a great job driving the car throughout the event. They were approaching the fringes of the top 20 for the second time in 23rd spot, but their progress is frustratingly halted once again as repairs are made.
19h33m Alex Wurz has pitted the leading #9 Peugeot for a fill of fuel.
19h32m Tracy Krohn has been involved in a minor off for the #83 Risi Ferrari.
