Pedro Lamy heads into the pits for the second time in the lead Peugeot, having run 11 laps.
Audi Sport continue to occupy positions four to six. The first of them is the No.2 car driven by Allan Mcnish. He is 48 seconds behind the leader now. Frank Biela in the No.1 car and Lucas Luhr in the No.3 are running together in a battle for fifth position - although they are now 90 seconds off the lead.
The No.19 Chamberlain Synergy Lola AER is heading slowly back to the pits.
The first hour ends with Peugeot trio at the head of the race. Pedro Lamy and Franck Montagny continue to run in tandem, with Nicolas Minassian in the No.7 908 HDi now 21 seconds behind them.
The GT1 battle has remained unchanged after the first round of stops.

Jan Magnussen (27th overall) leads his class in the No.63 Corvette. He has a 12 second lead over Oliver Gavin in the No.64 sister car, with the two Aston Martins now beginning to fall back a little. The Astons are now 26 seconds behind the leading Corvette.
The No.22 Tokai University Courage has been pushed back into the garage.
With the first stops having been completed, the Peugeots continue to lead and in fact stretch away from all but one of the Audis.

The No.8 car driven by Pedro Lamy is just over a second ahead of the No.9 of Franck Montagny.

The No.7 machine is third and now 15 seconds behind the leading pair.
The LMP2 leaders both pit in the pair of RS Spyders, with the Van Merksteijn car of Jeroen Bleekemolen not taking Michelin tyres while the Casper Elgaard Team Essex took new Dunlops.
The 009 Aston Martin pits from third in LMGT1, as the second-in-class No. 64 Corvette is also in for fuel.
Tommy Erdos has finally got the MG Lola back in the pits and the RML team are starting to look at the heavy front end damage.
Allan Mcnish pits in the No.2 Audi and rejoins the race, having taken fuel only.
The damaged No.25 Lola MG is still crawling around the circuit to try and make it back to the pits.
The No.55 Lamborghini has been wheeled into the garage for further attention by the mechanics.
Franck Montagny pits the No.9 Peugeot from the lead and is away again with a tank of fuel.
The No.1 Audi with Frank Biela driving is in the pits for the first of many stops. All the expectation before the race was that the Peugeots would be stopping before them.
The No.25 that was recently nerfed into the armco is on its way back to the pits, is drivable, and the team will attempt repairs when it arrives in pitlane.
The Peugeot team are now getting ready for their first stop as the leader No.8 is in the pits on lap nine.
The No.25 Lola MG is in the barriers on the Mulsanne straight. Tommy Erdos was at the controls and replays show that he was nudged under braking for the second chicane by the No.12 Charouz Racing entry.

There is extensive front end damage to the Lola.
The pair of Porsche RS Spyders are now running together in a battle for the LMP2 lead. The Van Merksteijn car with Jeroen Bleekemolen aboard leads from the Team Essex machine driven by Casper Elgaard.
The No.33 Speedy Racing Lola with Xavier Pompidou at the wheel comes into the pits with a puncture. The team change tyres and the Frenchman gets away.
Franck Montagny is now on the tail of the leading car as Pedro Lamy encounters heavy lapped traffic on the Mulsanne straight.
A slow fourth lap for Jan Magnussen in the leading Corvette in GT1 has brought the chasing trio of the No.64 Corvete and the two Aston Martins closer as the battle continues down the field.
The trio of Peugeots are all lapping in a blistering 3:22 pace, although have encountered traffic in recent laps.

Autosport.com's team in the paddock report that Audi are hoping to run one lap longer on fuel at each stop. Their cars are running around three to four seconds slower in the opening laps.
Up front the flying Peugeots continue to pull away from the Audis. Pedro Lamy continues to lead in the No.8. On this the fifth lap Lamy now is beginning to break away from his teammates as they come past the traffic at the tail of the field for the first time.
Corvette have the opening advantage in these first few minutes of the race in GT1, with Jan Magnussen in the No.63 already pulling out a gap over his teammate Oliver Gavin.. The No.007 and No.009 Astons are tight up behind Gavin.
In LM P2 the Van Merksteijn No.34 entry with Jeroen Bleekemolen at the wheel is leading with the Team Essex and Speedy Racing Lola Judd in close proximity.
Lamy continues to lead overall from Peugeot team-mates Montagny and Minassian with the No.9 currently closing on the leader.

McNish is the lead Audi in fourth, from Lucas Luhr in the No.3 car and Frank Biela in the final Audi.

The Lola Aston now runs behind the diesels in seventh.
Pedro Lamy, Franck Montagny and Nicolas Minassian continue to run close together at the front of the race, and now have a clear gap of some seven seconds to the first of the Audis.
Pedro Lamy leads in the No.8 as the trio of Peugots are already sprinting away at the front.
The No.8 Peugeot 908 HDi continues to lead ahead of the No.7 machine as the first lap comes to an end.
Allan McNish is in fighting mood off the start and got up to third in the opening sequence but has now fallen behind Gene into fourth.
The three Peugeots hold onto the lead in the opening corners of the first lap.
The safety car pulls into the pit lane, and the greatest sportscars on Earth are away for the 24 hours of Le Mans!
The field make their way through the Porsche curves as the formation lap continues.
Last year Sebastien Bourdais lost the lead for Peugeot in less than 24 seconds of the 24 hours. Soon we will all find out if Peugeot can hold onto the lead for longer this time round.
The cars are on the Mulsanne straight, at the second chicane, warming up towards the start.
Astronauts aboard the International Space Station are providing a ceremonial start signal from orbit.
The cars roll away from the grid and take up formation behind the pace car.
