LMH: In Glickenhaus land, the #708 has cleared the LMP2 duo of Jota's #28 car and WRT's #31 car - Gelael and Frijns driving those respectively.
GTE Pro: Epic battle for the lead between #64 Corvette (Milner) and #52 AF Corse Ferrari (Molina). The Ferrari is all over the rear wing of the Corvette.
GTE Am: Early leaders Cetilar Racing have dropped to sixth. We understand Roberto Lacorte is at the wheel now having taken over from pro Antonio Fuoco.
LMH: Lapierre has cleared the #26 G-Drive, and is now going after the #38 Jota of da Costa. There's a 20s gap to make up on the LMP2 leader.
GTE Pro: If you are wondering why #51 AF Corse has dropped to fourth it was the car that ran in gravel where Merhi was beached and caused the slow zone.
LMH: Buemi clears leading LMP2 runner da Costa, and now takes second overall. The #8 Toyota is a full 56s behind the #7.
LMP2: Stevens in the #65 Panis car is giving Kubica plenty of attention, aiming to steal fourth in class from the #41 WRT machine.
GTE Am: #18 Absolute Racing (Marco Seefried) is the only runner to have made a second stop. Appears an unscheduled one.
LMH: Buemi has set a 3m29.508s for our new fastest lap so far. Conway in the sister Toyota is leadng by almost a full minute over da Costa.
LMP2 top five: #38 Jota (da Costa, P2 overall), #26 G-Drive (de Vries, P4 overall), #29 Racing Team Nederland (van der Garde, P6 overall), #41 WRT (Kubica, P7 overall), #65 Panis Racing (Stevens, P8 overall).
GTE Am: After Hour 1: #83 AF Corse (Niklas Nielsen) leads #88 Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche (Julien Andlauer) with #80 Iron Lynx Ferrari (Matteo Cressoni) third. 13 laps completed and the entire field has made one stop at least.
LMH current order: #7 Toyota (Conway), #8 Toyota (Buemi, P3 overall), #36 Alpine (Lapierre, P5 overall), #708 Glickenhaus (Pla, P11 overall), #709 Glickenhaus (Westbrook, P14 overall)
LMP2: Merhi's up and running now, so the slow zone at the start of the lap should be waved off soon.
GTE Pro: After Hour 1: #64 Corvette (Tommy Milner) leads #52 AF Corse Ferrari (Miguel Molina) with #79 WeatherTech Racing Porsche (Laurens Vanthoor.) 13 laps completed. Most runners doing nine laps stints.
LMP2: It's at the Dunlop Curves where Merhi has gone off. Meanwhile, in LMH-land, Westbrook has also spun off around the pitlane entry, losing more positions aboard the #709 car.
LMP2: That's Merhi in the gravel! The #25 G-Drive looks stranded as Merhi is yet to get on his merry way.
LMH: Buemi does indeed pass de Vries, and now has 23s to find to close in on Da Costa.
LMH: Buemi has recovered nicely, having just logged a 3m35.877s and is right on the back of de Vries in the LMP2 #26 G-Drive.
LMH: Lapierre now comes in to pit the #36 Alpine from the lead. Conway reassumes the front with the #7 Toyota, with LMP2 pair da Costa and de Vries behind them.
GTE Pro: #64 Corvette back in the lead after the first round of stops after a 9 lap stint. Tommy Milner still at the wheel. The two AF Corse Ferraris are P2 and P3. All eight entries have had one pit stop.
LMP2: De Vries also brings the #26 car into the pits, with Gelael in the #28 Jota and Nato in the #70 Realteam car also stopping.
GTE Am: Leaders #47 Cetilar Racing and #88 Dempsey- Proton Racing have also ducked into the pits.
LMH: Lapierre in the #36 Alpine has the fastest lap of the race so far, a 3m49.192s.
LMH: The #708 Glickenhaus of Pla comes in for a new nose and penalty from the earlier crash. Buemi has also pitted in the #8 Toyota.
GTE Am: Eight cars have pitted after nine laps. (#83, #80, #98, #95, #777, #46, #77 and #60.
LMP2: The leading #38 car comes in, along with the #65, #41, #23, 29, 25 and 31 all come in. De Vries now assumes the class lead.
GTE Pro: #64 Corvette, #91 Porsche and #Hub Auto Porsche have pitted. Second placed AF Corse, #79 WeatherTech Porsche, #63 Corvette and #92 Porsche now pit for the first time.
GTE Pro: Ferrari was hit with a Balance of Performance tweak to its boost levels and fuel capacity but it doesn't appear to be halting them. They are 1-2 as dry lines appear. Calado leads Molina.
LMP2: The second Glickenhaus car falls to Da Costa's relentless advances, meaning he's only got the 44s to make up on the leading #7 Toyota. Meanwhile, de Vries clears Stevens in the #65 car to get P2 in class.
LMP2: Meanwhile, Da Costa has now cleared the #709 Glickenhaus! That's a big scalp, and the #708 car will be next up. The Portuguese is over a second-a-lap faster.
LMP2: De Vries dives down the outside of Kubica to claim third in class, with Kubica giving him enough space to let the #26 car get past. Nice move.
GTE Pro: It's a AF Corse 1-2 now. James Calado to P2 as Laurens Vanthoor takes P3 in the #79 WeatherTech racing Porsche. Corvettes down to fourth and fifth.
LMP2: You know what, actually? Da Costa in the #38 Jota car is super close to the Glickenhauses. He's also a second a lap quicker than the LMH duo.
GTE Pro: Lead change! #52 AF Corse to the front as Molina passes Garcia in the #63 Corvette C8.R.
LMH: Lapierre's got up to P8 overall now, and should be able to clear the rest of the LMP2 field in short order given his pace. Da Costa's a little bit further up the road, however.
GTE Pro: #63 Corvette (Antonio Garcia) now leads. Miguel Molina in the #52 AF Corse has jumped to P2 with Ferrari team-mate James Calado third in the #51 AF Corse. Early leader, Milner in the #64 Corvette has dropped to fifth.
