Barrichello has also improved the time of the #29 RTN Dallara with a 3m33.182s. He's 17th.
The #98 Aston piloted by Dalla Lana has spun at the Dunlop Bridge and continued.
Heinemeier Hansson improves to a3m30.035s in the #13 Rebellion ORECA. He's sixth.
It's all happening in LMP2 - Panciatici puts the #35 Signatech ORECA fourth with a lap of 3m29.328s
It's all happening in GTE Am as Vanthoor sets a new fastest time of 3m54.543s in the #84 JMW Motorsport Ferrari. Rees is second fastest with a 3m54.559s in the #50 Larbre Corvette. Third is the #77 Porsche, in which Cairoli has just gone quicker than last night with a 3m54.980s. The previous leader, the #98 Aston, is now fourth having not improved its time.
Mucke's #66 Ford has a puncture and is driving back to the pits slowly.
“Bring the car back slowly please, it is a real puncture," Ford driver Mucke is warned.
The Ford's tyre let go early in the lap, so it's a long journey back to the pits:
Fisichella on a charge in the #82 Risi Ferrari with a new fastest lap of 3m52.138, which slots it in third overall between the #95 Aston and the #71 AF Corse Ferrari. The #82 car had all its times deleted last night after the mechanics misunderstood a communication from a marshal and began removing the 488 from parc ferme too early.
We've got a yellow flag at the first chicane on the Mulsanne.
The #25 Manor ORECA that is currently fastest in LMP2 is in the gravel. Trummer is now at the wheel.
Another driver change with Tandy back in the second-placed #1 Porsche.
Some of the LMP2 cars that are not in the gravel have been improving. Heinemeier Hansson has shaved a fraction of his time to get down to 3m29.884s in the #13 Rebellion ORECA that is seventh. Hanley has moved the #21 DragonSpeed ORECA up to 11th, while Gommendy has put the #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA 15th.
The yellow has been removed, so the track is clear.
Shortly before the yellow flags were withdraw, the race director told teams he is "going to trust the drivers" and cover the recovery with double yellows. "Please tell your drivers to slow down," he added.
Trummer has, apparently, got going again in the #25 Manor ORECA. Remember, that's currently fastest in class thanks to Petrov's earlier effort
Mucke has done a good job nursing the Ford back without doing any major damage:
An onboard replay from a passing car sugget Trummer spun into the gravel at the first chicane when he went off a few minutes ago
Gavin has brought the #64 Corvette up to fifth with a 3m52.391s lap.
Rusinov improves to a 3m28.807s in the #26 G-Drive/TDS ORECA. He's fourth
We've now got the first driver change this session in the #9 Toyota, with Lopez replacing fellow Le Mans rookie Kunimoto.
The #26 G-Drive/TDS ORECA has been reported to the stewards for overtaking under yellows. Rusinov has been at the wheel of that car
Zollinger has been warned not to exceed track limits in the #17 IDEC Ligier. He's just improved that car's best to a 3m37.080s to move it ahead of the #43 Riley.
The #23 Panis Barthez Ligier of Berthon has a rear-left puncture. That car is 22nd.
Mathias Lauda goes top in GTE Am with a 3m54.456 in the #98 Aston.
A track limits warning for Rao in the #36 Signatech ORECA
Trummer returns to the track in the #25 Manor ORECA. That's the pole car
Remember, this session has been extended by 30 minutes, so there's still 40 minutes to go
Not too much in the way of improvements out on track, so in one of the quieter moments here's a quick recap on how the runners and riders are stacking up in each class:

LMP1: It's starting to sink in just how good the lap Kobayashi put in to top the timesheets immediately after the red flag was. A 3m14.791s is a staggering time and is some 2.4 seconds faster than anyone else. Behind, Porsche is now up to second and third thanks to improvements from Jani and Bernhard, while Buemi in the #8 Toyota remains fourth overall despite not setting a time this session with a precautionary engine change after an oil supply issue. The #9 Toyota rounds out the top five.

LMP2: Petrov put the #25 Manor ORECA on pole shortly after the red flag with a lap of 3m25.549s. That bettered the time set by Laurent just before the stoppage, a 3m26.776s. It also means the LMP2 pole car is quicker than the privateer LMP1 ByKolles CLM! That car was in the gravel at the first Mulsanne chicane shortly after thanks to Trummer, who did at least get it back. The earlier red flag and subsequent barrier repairs were caused by Maris crashing the #33 Eurasia Ligier.

GTE Pro: Jonny Adam deposed his Aston Martin team-mates from provisional pole position with a 3m51.860s lap in the #97 Vantage shortly after the green flag. The #95 Aston remains second in class courtesy of its 3m52.117s lap set last night. In third, and fastest of the Ferrari contingent, Giancarlo Fisichella has put the #82 Risi 488 on the timesheets for the first time - last night’s were deleted for a parc ferme infraction - with a 3m52.138s.

GTE Am: Dries Vanthoor put the JMW Motorsport Ferrari on provisional pole shortly after the green flag with a 3m54.543s, ahead of Fernando Rees in the Larbre Corvette on 3m54.559, but with 40 minutes to go Mathias Lauda went faster than both in the #98 Aston Martin, lapping in 3m54.456s. Paul Dalla Lana spun that car at the Dunlop Bridge earlier while trying to better its time from last night.
