Pit stop
Right on time, the cars running first and second in LMP2 make their stops. Jarvis is in in the #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA, while Heinemeier Hansson brought in the #13 Rebellion. There's a little attention going on in the cockpit of the Rebellion.
Information
We've had two safety car periods and 23 slow zone procedures so far in this race.
Pit stop
Hirschi brings the #24 Manor ORECA into the pits from fifth place in class.
LMP1
Yes, the leading #1 Porsche of Lotterer is still there and 10 laps ahead of the second-placed #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA that leads LMP2.
LMP2
Ragues makes a stop in the #34 Signatech ORECA. That cars having a decent run in fourth place, although doesn't quite have the same turn of pace as the top three cars in class.
Information
We've had seven official retirements so far: #4 ByKolles CLM, #7 Toyota, #9 Toyota, #25 Manor ORECA, #26 G-Drive/TDS ORECA, #82 Risi Ferrari, #88 Proton Porsche.
Pit stop
Canal brings the #31 Rebellion ORECA into the pits for its scheduled stop. This is the second stint of his run.
Quote
The #82 Risi Ferrari of Kaffer exited the race some hours ago when it was pushed into the wall by Vaxiviere's ORECA. Here's what Kaffer had to say: "The team worked so hard. We are the only privateer team to run against the factories and I think we have done pretty well. I was pulling away from the Ford and catching the other Ferrari ahead. I was so comfortable in the car and the balance was perfect for me. I think the TV video speaks for itself. Even if I were to face this same situation right now I don't know how I could avoid it, so I'm feeling really sorry for this bad situation. This is why I sometimes say you need some luck on your side. Luckily I'm not hurt but the car has quite a lot of damage and I feel really sorry for the team about that."
LMP1
If the #1 Porsche of Lotterer continues to circulate without problems for the rest of the race (yes, given the reliability record in LMP1 so far, that's not to be taken for granted) it will win by a huge margin. Currently, the car is 10 laps clear, which is the same margin Biela, Pirro and Werner won by back in 2007. You have to go back to 1987 for a win by 20 laps, which was for the Porsche of Stuck, Bell and Holbert.
GTE AM
GTE Am class leader Stevens pits. Fuel only for the #84 JMW Ferrari.
GTE AM
The #65 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari has been reported for speeding in the pitlane.
LMP2
Jarvis is putting a bit of distance between himself and class rival Heinemeier Hansson. He's now 10s to the good.
LMP2
G-Drive's Rusinov has been penalised for his part in the accident that took him and Proton Porsche driver Al Qubaisi out of the race early doors today. The Russian has been given a three-minute stop-go penalty to be taken at the next WEC round at the Nurburgring in July and a second penalty of the same magnitude suspended for three events.
GTE PRO
Bird has split the two Astons in the #51 AF Ferrari, while team-mate Pier Guidi is fourth. The two Astons and two Ferraris are separated by just under half a minute.
LMP2
Jarvis is past the #13 Rebellion car and into the lead. They pitted on the same lap last time, so they're on the same fuel schedule if not the same tyre schedule.
LMP2
Jarvis is right with Heinemeier Hansson as they battle over P2 honours and second overall.
LMP1
Lotterer has just pitted for fuel in the leading #1 Porsche. There's not much else to say about a car that is 10 laps to the good.
There was much talk about LMP2 reliability earlier in the week, but the majority of the cars have so far run troublefree. Talk of broken gearboxes, electronic glitches and even engine failures looks like doom mongering, at least for the moment. But we aren't that far past half distance.
LMP2
The top two in P2 have pitted with the result that their positions have reversed. Heinemeier Hansson is now in front in the #13 Rebellion car because he didn't take tyres. Tung in the #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA has handed over to Jarvis, who got a new set of Dunlops.
Slow Zone
... and it's caused a slow zone.
GTE PRO
The #92 Porsche with Christensen at the wheel is off at the Ford Chicane.
LMP2
Toyota has released a quote from Lapierre concerning his retirement. “I can’t believe it," he said. "The LMP2 car was directly behind me at the end of the start-finish straight and I had the normal fuel cut. I guess he was surprised; he hit me from behind and that was it. It’s so frustrating for all of us in the team.”
Yellow flag
There's yellow flags on the run out of the Porsche Curves.
LMP1
That's now 203 laps in the books for the leading #1 Porsche.

Driver Change
Prost brings the #31 Rebellion ORECA into the pits as planned. It's a stop for fuel and tyres and for Canal to take over.
LMP1
Remember, we've lost two of the three Toyotas entirely, while the sole remaining one, the #8 driven currently by Nakajima, is down in 38th and 28 laps down.
LMP1
Yes, in case you were wondering, the #1 Porsche of Lotterer is still up front with a 10 lap lead over the LMP2-leading #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA.
LMP2
The #31 Rebellion ORECA, which is running third in class and fourth overall, is due to make its next stop shorlty.
Information
Race control warns that the #27 SMP Dallara is circulating slowly and without lights. That's down in 48th overall.
LMP2
Actually, the #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA of Tung has hung onto the lead in LMP2 after that stop, It leads by 3.2s.
Driver Change
The #67 Ford comes into the pits. Dirani hands over to Priaulx. That car is still a strong contender in GTE Pro.

LMP2
The #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA driven by Tung heads into the pits. That's bang on schedule and it will hand the lead, and second place overall, back to the #13 Rebellion ORECA of Heinemeier Hansson.
LMP2
Trummer, who crashed the #25 Manor ORECA after contact with the #9 Toyota, has been checked out in the medical centre and is OK.
LMP1
The #2 Porsche is in the pits. That car is up to 16th overall now but still has eight laps to make up to get ahead of the LMP2 leader.
Driver Change
Chandhok has taken over the #34 Tockwith Ligier. That's still in 12th place on the team's debut in this race.
GTE AM
The GTE Am class is being fought out by two British teams, one a stalwart of this race, the other a newcomer. The #84 JMW Ferrari leads with Vanthoor driving, while Hankey is is second, albeit nearly a lap down, in second aboard the #90 TF Aston.
LMP1
There is still a Toyota circulating, and Davidson just brought it into the pits. The #8 car is 40th overall and 28 laps down. Now, you could argue that means Toyota still has a hope, but that would require a lot of cars to hit trouble! It's all about banking what points it can for the championship from here.
GTE PRO
The #92 Porsche of Estre is back in the lead in GTE Pro ahead of the #51 AF Corse Ferrari of Pier Guidi. The front of the class is ebbing and flowing with the various pitstop timings, which have diverged a little.
