The #1 Rebellion's lengthy stop has promoted the sister #3 car driven by Berthon up to second place with a 38-second advantage. The issue has also extended the #8 Toyota's lead to five laps at the front.
We're back under green flag running, as Thiim has stepped into the #95 Aston, which runs third in GTE Pro behind the class leading #97 Aston and second-place #51 AF Corse Ferrari.
The #35 Eurasia Motorsport goes off, not for the first time in this race, which briefly causes a yellow flag but Yamanaka gets going again without too much issue. He is currently down in P19 in class.
Yellow flags have become slow zones with marshals on track to recover the debris from Laskaratos' tyre blowout.
The #1 Rebellion has a new nose, as the #3 Rebellion pits. The sister car is one lap behind the #1 car, which was running in second place behind the race leading #8 Toyota. Menezes has replaced Senna in the #1 car and rejoins the track.
GTE Am runner Schiavoni has spun the #60 Iron Lynx car, bringing out the yellow flag. There's also a puncture for the Laskaratos in the #17 Team Project 1 Porsche.
The #1 Rebellion entry is wheeled back into the garage, that car was running second overall. The sister #3 Rebellion car is only one lap behind...
The all-female crews are both running ninth place in class. The Richard Mille Racing #50 car - with Calderon currently at the wheel - runs ninth in LMP2 while Gostina has pitted and re-joined in ninth place in GTE Am in the #85 Iron Lynx Ferrari.
Senna has reported "a small gap" in the bodywork of his #1 Rebellion having recently pitted. The Brazilian continues on track and it doesn't appear to have impacted his speed yet as he remains in second place with a one lap gap on the #3 Rebellion.
GTE Pro class leader Lynn in the #97 Aston is the only driver lapping in the 3m51s. Second-place Calado is the next-fastest, but down in the 3m53s. A gap of 33 seconds now separates them.
Porsche update - the #91 and #92 cars are running in sixth and seventh in GTE Pro. There are only seven cars left running and the Porsche duo are lapping as the slowest drivers in the class. Not the best Le Mans debut for the new car...
Six hours to go in the 2020 Le Mans 24 Hours. 75% of the way there.
Canal concedes third place for the time being by pitting in the #31 Panis Racing which releases Jensen from his rear wing.
Calado has lost some 30 seconds with that pitstop drama but he does have fresh tyres on the #51 AF Corse Ferrari. The problem for Calado is that Lynn also has a fresh set of boots on the #97 Aston.
Can Jensen in the #26 G-Drive get his revenge? Having been frustrated by the #31 Panis Racing driven by Vaxiviere earlier, Canal is now at the controls and fending off pressure from the Danish driver.
There will be little chance of Calado overcutting Lynn, the #51 AF Corse Ferrari crew is changing the brake discs, handing the advantage back to the #97 Aston in GTE Pro.
LMP2 leaders #22 United Autosports and #38 JOTA remain on pitstop sequence so the gap at the front between di Resta and Gonzalez remains static at a little over one minute at the front.
Calado brings in the #51 AF Corse Ferrari and has a good chance of leapfrogging Lynn's #97 Aston for the GTE Pro lead. There was only a couple of seconds separating them before the latest pitstops.
The leading #8 Toyota pits for the 27th time in this race, just for a fuel stop, with Buemi staying at the wheel having only jumped in under an hour ago.
The GTE Am leading #90 TF Sport entry of Yoluc makes his latest pitstop. The 35-year-old Turkish ace remains in the car.
Jensen pits from third place in the #26 G-Drive which, when it returns to the action, should restart the battle against the #31 Panis Racing for the final spot on the LMP2 rostrum.
The third and fourth place cars in GTE Pro are also in the pits for their 18th pitstops of the race. Westbrook rejoins in third place in the #95 Aston, with Rigon taking to the circuit in fourth place in the #71 AF Corse Ferrari, albiet five laps adrift of the class-leading sister car.
Right on cue, Lynn hops into the #97 Aston with a fresh set of tyres in tow. They'll need them to compete with the fast-charging Calado in the #51 AF Corse Ferrari - the new class leader.
Calado has reduced GTE Pro leader Tincknell's advantage to two seconds. Lynn is keenly watching on and looks set to replace Tincknell in that #97 Aston shortly.
A change of position further down the LMP2 order as McMurry in the #25 Algarve Pro Racing takes advantage of Calderon in the #50 Richard Mille Racing getting stuck behind a GTE Am car. McMurry moves into 10th place in class which triggers wild celebrations in his garage.
Frenchman Collard has moved the #83 AF Corse into second in GTE Am after passing Ried in the #77 Dempsey Proton machine. Yoluc still comfortably leads out front with a lap in hand.
We promise we are not ignoring the top class but the updates remain limited because all cars are holding station. Buemi in the lead #8 Toyota is two laps in the clear from the #1 Rebellion driven by Senna who has a one lap advantage over the #3 Rebellion driven by Berthon. Previous leader the #7 Toyota, driven by Conway, remains fourth and six laps off the lead due to losing time overnight with a turbo issue.
BOSS GP fans may recognise van Eerd - the cause of the latest slow zone - as the driver, who took a 2004 Minardi F1 car to victory in the third round of the 2016 BOSS GP season at Monza. He also raced a 1999 Benetton F1 car with less success two months later at Brno.
Calado has now halved the the gap to GTE Pro class leader Tincknell. Just over six seconds separates the #97 Aston and the #51 AF Corse Ferrari.
The #29 Racing Team Nederland with Frits van Eerd at the wheel has spun at the Dunlop chicane and has got stuck halfway into the gravel trap. That has triggered a slow zone so marshals can recover the stricken LMP2 car.
Campbell's mega stint in the #77 Dempsey Proton entry has come to an end, with team boss Ried stepping in to the second-place car in GTE Am.
Campbell is easily the fastest driver in GTE Am right now, he's lapping some two seconds quicker than the next-fastest car and is taking big chunks out of Yoluc's healthy lead in the #90 TF Sport entry.
The LMP2 leaders pit on the same lap and both make driver changes. Di Resta is in the #22 United Autosports but isn't given a chance to race his Sky Sports F1 colleague as Davidson makes way for Gonzalez in the #38 JOTA.
Remember that impending big push from Calado in the #51 AF Corse? He's just taken four seconds out of GTE Pro leader Tincknell in the #97 Aston to bring the gap down to under 10 seconds.
With daylight now prevalent the TV helicopter has also taken off to give us some stunning aerial shots. The light is also making it way easier to spot the cars with tired eyes. Everyone's a winner.
At the front of LMP2, the gap between the leading #22 United Autosports driven by Hanson has stabilised at around 50 seconds over the #38 JOTA driven by Davidson.
