It is now less than a month until The Motorsport Show blasts into action. And, with excitement starting to build ahead of the event, details about some of the star cars that will be attending have been released.
There is no denying the impact Formula E has had on the motorsport world in the past few years, with manufacturers queuing up to get involved in the electric series.
Now, one of the category's cars will make the first visit to Ireland as the 2018-19 title-winning DS Techeetah machine will be at the RDS Dublin for the show on November 23-24.
Given the way electric power is becoming ever more widespread, it's appropriate that the show will also feature a 'Future of Motorsport Arena' to look at what the coming years may hold. But this event is far from all about the future.
Motorsport's past will also feature strongly and 2019 has marked a special birthday for a car that has written a fair few chapters of racing history.
The humble Mini is now 60 years-old and The Motorsport Show will mark the occasion with a special parade of Minis planned for the Sunday of the event. The Mini will also feature in acclaimed driver Paul Swift's performances at the show - he will complete a series of displays on the event's Live Runway.
Other attractions are set to include a live edition of 'the voice of rallying' Colin Clark's Kitchen Table show, while a special conference and workshops will take place all on the theme of sponsorship.
It's becoming ever more important for drivers, no matter what motorsport discipline they compete in, to attract sponsors and there will be plenty of advice on offer detailing how to go about this.
And that's not all. More star attractions and attendees will be announced in the coming weeks in the final run-up to the show. All areas of motorsport will be represented, right from the very grassroots up to international categories.
