Vickers on Pole at New Hampshire
Brian Vickers took his first Nextel Cup pole position of the 2005 season today, ahead of Sunday's New England 300 at New Hampshire International Speedway
Vickers lapped the 1.058-mile oval at an average speed of 130.327mph, making it his third NASCAR career pole position.
Kasey Kahne set the second fastest lap, while Elliott Sadler and Ryan Newman were third and fourth respectively. Kurt Busch rounded out the top five for tomorrow's race.
