Jarrett on shootout pole for Toyota

Dale Jarrett has drawn pole position for Saturday's Budweiser Shootout, which will be Toyota's first start in NASCAR's Nextel Cup class

The 1999 series champion will lead the 21-car field to the green flag, while fellow Toyota driver Brian Vickers will line-up fourth for Team Red Bull.

Reigning Nextel Cup champion Jimmie Johnson will start in eighth for the 70-lap encounter, which most drivers are expecting to be a frantic battle.

Denny Hamlin, who won the non-championship race as a rookie last year, will start at the back of the field, just behind reigning Busch Series champion Kevin Harvick.
