Dolby claims Valles is 'rattled'

Tottenham Hotspur's Craig Dolby has labelled Superleague Formula title rival Adrian Valles of Liverpool as 'rattled' after the Spaniard remonstrated with another driver after qualifying

Dolby will start 10th and Valles 14th after both struggled in the group qualifying session and failed to make the knock-out stages that decide the front of the grid.

Valles blamed Anderlecht's Yelmer Buurman for blocking him on what should have been his fastest lap, and ran to Buurman's pits and pushed one of his team members during a shouting match.

Dolby cited that as a sign of the pressure Valles is feeling, despite his large points lead.

"At least I've qualified ahead of the red car," said Dolby. "I wouldn't act like that if I had a 49-point lead, he must be rattled. It could have been a really good day for me, but we just didn't have the traction from the car that we needed. We know the speed is in the car, we've just got to find it for race day."

Dolby is determined to enjoy himself in the final race weekend of the season, and claims he is not thinking of the title.

"I'm just going to have fun and kick some ass," he added. "It would be boring if I started on pole, wouldn't it? I'll be passing everywhere I can."
