Mexico City to conclude A1GP season
A1GP has confirmed that the Mexico City round has been moved to May 24 and will be the season finale
The series was originally scheduled to conclude at Brands Hatch, but last month's Mexican round had to be delayed due to clash with a Radiohead concert at the Hermanos Rodriguez venue on the same weekend.
"It is very important for the series to go back to Mexico City, especially as it won the award for being the best run event of season three," said A1GP CEO Pete da Silva.
"The fans have always given us a warm welcome and it will be great to let them witness the finale of what has been a very exciting first season for the Powered-by-Ferrari cars."
The event is still subject to the completion of the FIA-stipulated changes to the Peraltada corner before a licence will be granted. The chicane on the straight before the final corner will be widened, another chicane added at the entry and the corner tightened in the middle to slow the cars down.
