Lorenzo voices Michelin fears at Brno

Jorge Lorenzo says he is struggling with his Michelin tyres on the recently resurfaced Brno circuit after finishing 11th in free practice for the Czech Republic Grand Prix today

Ahead of the Spanish rookie, Colin Edwards was the only Michelin-shod rider in the top ten and Lorenzo says it's going to be difficult for them to be competitive.

"The main problem is the front tyre," he said. "I'm worried because the first Michelin is seventh and this isn't great. It's clear that we all need to work together to improve this.

"We're working very closely together with Michelin and Yamaha and we are trying to find a better way for us here this weekend. It's very difficult at the moment to fight for the podium in the dry, in the wet we don't know yet."

Although Lorenzo is desperate to return to his front-running form from earlier in the season, he says his target for this weekend is just to finish in the top seven.
