That's it from us for qualifying. Stay tuned to this site for post-session reactions. We'll be back for the race tomorrow, which gets going at 20:00 local time. Unless it's raining, of course, in which case strap in for a long wait.

Here's your report from qualifying:

So it's Red Bull-Ferrari-Ferrari-Mercedes in the top four, while Verstappen and Antonelli will have team-mates starting from the nether regions of the grid.

Lawson improved marginally to 1m32.369s - not quite enough to prevent Gasly from leapfrogging him to P8. Lindblad didn't improve on his earlier lap. Some disappointment for the Racing Bulls drivers there, given they had new tyres for their final runs.

Antonelli also backed out of his second push lap. Same for Russell, who set a personal best in the first sector but then pulled up in the second.

Hamilton doesn't improve on his 1m31.496s but Leclerc beats his previous time with a 1m31.427s. 0.054s slower than Verstappen, who then bails out of his lap because he doesn't need to go any quicker.

Another pole position for Verstappen in Singapore!

It's a neat first sector for Norris, but not faster than Verstappen's.

Norris is first to open a push lap, since the Mercedes are doing two prep laps.

Verstappen is the last to leave the pits for the final Q3 runs.

Antonelli also leaving the pits. Interesting to note this two-prep approach, perhaps to give the tyres a 'gentle introduction'. It is notoriously hard to manage tyre temperatures through a full push lap here - take too much early on and you pay at the end.

And Russell is the first to leave the pits for the second Q3 runs. 4m30s to go.

And the final three runners after those first push laps are Lawson (1m32.372s), Gasly (1m32.502s) and Lindblad (1m32.781s).

Yes, replays showing Hamilton having to apply a 'dab of oppo' at Turn 3, then understeering queasily at the entry to the final chicane, so laptime still on the table for him.

Looks like the Mercedes did two prep laps on their new softs. Antonelli now goes P3 with 1m31.562s. Russell P6 with 1m31.747s. The jumbo fractions?

And Hamilton goes P2 with 1m31.496s! Purple through sector two but it got away from him in the final sector.

Verstappen sets a 1m31.373s. Leclerc responds with a 1m31.661s. Norris P3 with 1m31.712s. Piastri P4 on 1m32.193s.

And now Hamilton and Gasly exit the pits. All runners on new softs apart from Lindblad and Lawson, who had to throw an extra set of softs at their cars to ensure they made Q3.

Q3 IS GO!

All drivers except Hamilton and Gasly out on track as soon as the pitlane opens.

Gasly found seven tenths on his final push. Good work! Bearman improved by half a second but it wasn't enough.  Ocon, Sainz and Bortoleto didn't improve.

So that's Hulkenberg, Bearman, Ocon, Sainz, Bortoleto and Colapinto eliminated in Q2.

All of them will gain a position tomorrow, though, as a result of Russell taking a big grid penalty for an engine change.

Gasly breaks into the top 10 with a 1m32.602s. That nudges Hulkenberg out. Lawson improves to 1m32.319s.

Colapinto does a1m33.787s but it's not enough - and he pings the barrier at the end of the lap, albeit not hard enough to stop him crossing the line.

Lando Norris does another push lap on the same set of softs and it's not an improvement.

P8 southward is looking a little shaky - Lawson is 1.212s off the frontrunning pace on 1m32.741s. You can see why McLaren sent Piastri out again.

Verstappen on a quick lap now so Piastri might be about to head south.

Piastri trying to improve on his earlier 1m32.420s, so clearly not thinking he's too safe. 1m32.245s is an improvement and he goes P5 for now.

Gasly's best so far is 1m33.174s, Ocon's is 1m33.323s, Bearman's is 1m33.492s, Sainz's is 1m33.526s, Bortoleto's is 1m33.658s, Colapinto's is 1m33.866s.

Bortoleto got a tankslapper on as he left the Anderson Bridge there.

Norris now joins Hamilton in the sub-32 club: 1m31.895s, 0.129s off Lewis.

Hulkenberg's 1m33.165s is the threshold for elimination. He's P10 for now.

Gasly, Ocon, Bearman, Colapinto, Bortoleto and Sainz currently in the drop zone.

"Insanely bad shifts," complains Verstappen. At least his gearbox is still working, sort of...

Verstappen slots into P2 with 1m32.165s, 0.399s off Hamilton's benchmark.

Norris and Piastri paired again in P4 and P5 with 1m32.368s and 1,32.420s.

Hamilton goes purple in the final two sectors to be first into the 1m31s bracket - 1m31.66s.
