Wheldon Calls for More Coverage
Indy Racing League championship leader Dan Wheldon has called on series bosses to stop throwing all their marketing efforts behind Danica Patrick

The Briton claims that although the interest sparked by Patrick's involvement in the IRL is a good thing, he believes it is dangerous for any racing series to focus so much on just one driver.
Speaking during a promotional visit to Detroit, Wheldon said: "Danica's done a very good job. She's hot. She's female. She's different to us. She's good for the sport.
"But you never know what can happen in the future with her. There's not just one person in the public eye. They (IRL chiefs) should be pushing everyone."
Despite his views on Patrick being centre of attention in the series, he still believes that she is good enough to win races.
"She could have won at Nashville," added Wheldon. "I do believe she can win in the series, it's just a matter of time. She passed me at Nashville and made me look stupid."
