"He's quicker than us," Hamilton tells Mercedes of Leclerc's pace - and, using our lovely, smug, 2020 hindsight, we'll explain why later on.
Mercedes head out into the pits - but, spoilers, this is a bluff.
Leclerc's lead up from is 1.5s ahead of Hamilton. What Vettel's Ascari off did was expose his team-mate to the double trouble Mercedes could unleash. The race before at Spa, Vettel had played a useful role in holding up Hamilton as Leclerc raced to a maiden F1 win.
Information
Stroll gets a drivethrough for his incident with Gasly - but he wasn't given a stop/go because he didn't hit the Toro Rosso.
Radio Comms
Verstappen has climbed to sixth, but he's complaining of "loss of power out of Turn 2". Ahh a Red Bull driver complaining about a power unit - such memories.
After Monza, Vettel’s tally was nine after he was given three penalty points for the Stroll clash.
F1 regulations state that any driver hitting 12 points within a 12-month period will be banned for one race, which hasn't happened since the system was introduced for 2014.
After being penalised for that frankly embarrassing incident, Vettel was at risk of being banned for a race.
Information
Vettel gets a 10-second stop/go penalty for rejoining unsafely and clipping Stroll.

The Motorsport Images photographers were on hand to capture Vettel's moment of 'glory'.
A tenth of the race is gone - it was another breathless Monza encounter.
Hamilton and Bottas are keeping Leclerc honest at the front - good thing Ferrari drivers are always fine under pressure at Monza.
Crash
Grosjean spun at the exit of Ascari - picking up massive flatspots in his Haas. The French driver spent the whole of this race battling with oversteer.
Vettel dropped to last after pitting for a new front wing, Stroll is down in 12th.
Vettel broke his front wing against Stroll, who went skating sideways into the gravel and then forced Gasly into the gravel track leading onto the back straight.
That put Stroll around, and he then shot into Gasly's path as he rejoined - not a good few seconds there.
Crash
Vettel lit up his rears and clipped the Racing Point of Lance Stroll as he came back onto the track.
As we know, that didn't happen...
Crash
Vettel's off at Ascar! Surely he'll rejoin in a safe and calm manner?!
Vettel remains fourth - within one-second of Bottas's P3.
Leclerc has eased to a solid gap over Hamilton - he's 1.5s clear, but this is just the start of their lengthy battle.
Ricciardo passes Hulkenberg for fifth - at the start of what is going to be its best race since returning to F1 as a works team in 2016.
Stopwatch
Verstappen sets a 'new' fastest lap at the back of the pack.
Incidentally, after this race, Sainz will apologise to Albon as it was his "rear-end wobble" - per our magazine report - that caused the clash.
Crash
Sainz and Albon clash at Lesmo 1! The Red Bull scampers through the gravel and rejoins a few places back.
Albon is pressuring Sainz - both featured in the Q3 shambles, with Sainz to the fore.
Might have rethink our ban on 'quoting'...
Verstappen pits for a new nose and some soft tyres - he's got a lot of overtaking to do 'today'.
Oh Vettel breezes back past Hulkenberg - he can settle in for a smooth run behind the top three now.
Hulkenberg passes Vettel for fourth - surely that's as bad as his afternoon is going to get?
Leclerc edged Hamilton towards the grass - that was close - as Verstappen whacks Perez right at the back.
Green flag
The lights are 'out' and their 'racing' at Monza - Leclerc leads off the line but he's under massive pressure from Hamilton on the run to Turn 1.
Oh Alonso was there to watch along - not the best day for McLaren in the end... Spoilers, obviously.
We'll stop with the ' usage after the 'start', promise.
The formation lap is 'underway' - Leclerc leads the pack off the line for the fourth time in his F1 career.
For anyone wondering why Verstappen started down in 19th - it's because he had to take a grid penalty for taking the spec-4 Honda engine ahead of the race.
Autosport
While we're at it, here's the full qualifying report for the Monza race - which ultimately resulted in Leclerc taking his fourth F1 pole

Autosport
The Q3 shambles was investigated by the Monza stewards - and for a full explanation of what happened, which Toto Wolff called "absurdity" that "none of us have ever seen', check out this report from the time

Leclerc starts on pole ahead of Hamilton and Bottas, with Vettel fourth after what was a truly shambolic end to qualifying, where the Q3 runners held each other up for so long, most missed the chance to set a final flying lap. #F1Rewind
So, get ready for our usual ‘in-race’ Live coverage, which may even include a joke or two (sorry in advance, Vettel), and we hope it provides a handy companion to anyone re-watching the event. #F1Rewind
