Larbre return to series for 2008
Larbre Competition will return to FIA GT with a GT1 Saleen S7R this season after spending two years in the Le Mans Series
The French team won the LMS GT1 title in 2006 but have chosen to return to FIA GT, where they won three consecutive titles from 2000 to 2002.
Former World Series by Renault racer Greg Franchi will stay with Larbre for the move, and will share the Saleen with fellow Belgian Vincent Vosse, who returns to the squad he won the LMS title with two years ago.
"FIA GT is a great competition and we felt we had to be part of it," said Larbre team principal Jack Leconte. "Both drivers feel at home with us and the performance level of the Saleen S7R was demonstrated by its impressive results last season."
Vosse added: "I have had a lot of success in my long history with Larbre and such achievements cannot be put down to luck. This new chapter in our partnership can only become a success."
