Team GBR want rules clarification

Team Great Britain are set to ask for a rules clarification about push-starts in the pits following the controversy surrounding Team Germany at Malaysia last month

German driver Nico Hulkenberg received a push start in the pits on his way to victory at Sepang - which Team GB believe was against the rules. Although an appeal was lodged, it was thrown out because it was made too late.

Despite ending their attempts to overturn the results, and being on the receiving end of criticism from Team Germany, further questions will be asked ahead of this weekend's race in Indonesia.

Team co-ordinator Paul Antony told Autosport magazine this week: "We have spoken to the FIA and we have been told that at this point there is not a lot we can do.

"We have to accept the results, so we will not be appealing, but what A1 has to do now is to put out a rule clarification in writing."

A1GP's technical manager John Wickham has said that series organisers will hold talks with the teams ahead of this weekend's round at Sentul.
