Result: JV sweeps Williams poll
After Jacques Villeneuve was added to the growing list of drivers in the frame to replace Juan Pablo Montoya, and most likely, Ralf Schumacher at the BMW WilliamsF1 Team next year, we thought we'd ask you who you would most like to see driving an FW27 in 2005
You responded in your thousands and it appears quite a lot of you are fans of the French-Canadian former world champion. Villeneuve won the poll hands down with more votes than all the others put together.
Quite a lot of you were excited by the very realistic prospect of Mark Webber switching from Jaguar to Williams next year while IRL champion Scott Dixon crossing the pond has caught your imagination too.
But perhaps the biggest surprise of all was just how few of you would like to see Jenson Button return to the team that gave him his chance in F1. Is it because this year's Williams chassis does not appear to be as competitive as Jenson's BAR or is that it would be a shame to see BAR dip in form if they lost Button next year? Only you guys know the answer to that.
