Protrak's new Dubai motorsport centre

Protrak World Motorsport Management will open its Motorsport Service Centre in Dubai next month, managed by former Prodrive account manager Stuart Billington. The new PWMM centre, which will be fully equipped to rebuild and service both rally and racing cars, has already been appointed as the Middle East agent for a number of motorsport components, including 'Speedline' wheels

PWMM will have Subaru Imprezas in stock, including the latest S8 WRC model as well as Group N rally cars. Under MD Mark Taylor, PWMM will also run teams in selected rounds of both the 2003 the Middle East Rally Championship and the World Rally Championship. The company intends to play a leading role in developing motorsport in the Middle East and to expand into one-make racing and karting.

The company is owned by the House of Cars Group (HOC), which also owns several non-franchised car dealerships in the west of Dubai City, a Porsche and BMW service centre, a body repair shop and an off-road motorcycle business.
