New partners in NHRA Youth & Education

America's NHRA Youth & Education Services programme, the main backer of which is the US Army, will include three new partners for the 2003 season. Job Corps, Future Farmers of America and Babcox Publications will join SkillsUSA and Lincoln Technical Institute, which joined Y.E.S. at the beginning of this season. Y.E.S. is on target to host no fewer than 48,000 students at its 'Education Days at the Track' drag racing events during 2002

Y.E.S. is the only motorsport educational programme that involves thousands of students across the USA. It assists teachers in directing young adults towards their long-term career goals, by introducing students to the various opportunities for professional motorsport career paths. They can interact with crew chiefs, mechanics, and individuals working in different support roles for the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association).

Job Corps is America's largest education and job training organisation for at-risk youth. The FFA organization works with young people to develop their potential for leadership and personal growth. Babcox is an automotive aftermarket publisher.
