Kane on front row at Portland
Jonny Kane narrowly missed out on his first Indy Lights pole position at Portland
The former British F3 champion will start from the front row alongside Oriol Servia tomorrow. Fellow Brits Derek Higgins, Guy Smith and Ben Collins line up 8th, 10th and 14th.
The whole field is within two seconds of Servia's pole time. Points leader Casey Mears will start 12th. Didier Andre was fastest in the opening qualifying session but slipped to 3rd in the end.
