Kane looking good in Oregon

Jonny Kane ended up second behind Geoff Boss in the warm-up for this afternoon's Indy Lights race at Portland

Kane has been in the top three in every session so far, and will start from the outside of the front row. Poleman Oriol Servia was only 12th quickest in the warm-up.

Former British F3 champion Kane claimed that it was just bad luck in the early rounds that left him 16th in the standings before this race.

He said: 'We don't have many points yet this year, but we've actually been quick everywhere. We just haven't had good results yet.

'I hope to fix that here, particularly since this is the type of circuit I'm accustomed to.'

The other British drivers also look competitive, with Guy Smith and Derek Higgins 5th and 6th quickest in the warm-up. Ben Collins continues to struggle however, he was down in 15th.
