HVM to Decide on Drivers Soon
HVM Racing will make an eleventh hour decision to decide whether Ronnie Bremer will continue to drive for the team at this weekend's race in Toronto
The Dane has been struggling for funding and had been thought unlikely to keep the drive for this weekend, but the team have struggled to secure a replacement.
An announcement is expected shortly, but possible replacements include Brazilian Alex Sperafico, who finished 10th at the Canadian street circuit last season for Conquest Racing.
Ex-Minardi driver Nicolas Kiesa has also been linked with the team. Jos Verstappen could also still be in with a chance, having tested for the team in at Sebring in June.
An HVM spokesperson told Autosport-Atlas: "We will be definitely running a two-car team, but we need to make a decision in the next couple of hours because we need to get a seat made.
"Ronnie's funding has been a problem but we there are still moves to keep him in the drive this weekend. Alex and Nicolas are possibilities."
