Grapevine: Manchester street course revealed
Organisers have revealed to autosport.com the course for the planned A1 Grand Prix street parade in Manchester next month
Six cars are going to take part in a special demonstration along the city's streets as part of the Sky Festival - a street festival arranged by A1's UK broadcasters, Sky television.
Robbie Kerr will drive the Great Britain entry, and will be joined by five other cars from Ireland, China, Australia, Malaysia and Lebanon.
Drivers of the other cars are yet to be confirmed.
The 1.5 km course runs from Exchange Square, round the Town Hall and through to a finish line at Blackfriar street.
The free demonstration takes place for an hour between 2pm and 3pm on Sunday August 13, and special viewing areas will be set up.
A dedicated interactive A1 GP paddock will be located in Exchange Square, and will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday, and while the demonstration is not running on Sunday.
"I'm looking forward to the Sky Festival's unique A1GP parade and showing the people of Manchester what these cars can do," said Kerr.
