Davidson and Solberg join show

World Rally Champion Petter Solberg and BAR Formula 1 test driver Anthony Davidson will take time out from their duties to appear at the AUTOSPORT International show on Sunday January 11 at the NEC in Birmingham

Autosport International

Autosport International is a four-day event motorsport event that includes a two-day trade show for industry professionals and a two-day public show.

Former McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC award winner Davidson made his first two Formula 1 starts in 2002 with Minardi at the Hungarian and Belgian grands prix. In addition to his gruelling BAR testing schedule, Anthony finished a close second in class in the Sebring 12 hours and also competed in Le Mans 24 hours this year in a Ferrari GT car. He also acted as reserve F1 driver for Jaguar Racing.

Also set to make an appearance on Sunday is 2003 WRC champion Petter Solberg, who will be talking about his successful campaign with Subaru on the AUTOSPORT stage. The ebullient Norwegian has been a hit with fans across the world, and will no doubt be a star turn of the show.

They are the latest to join the list of top names who will attend the four-day show, which runs from January 8-11, and will be interviewed on the AUTOSPORT central stage. So far, that list includes F1's Jenson Button and Justin Wilson, IRL stars Dan Wheldon and Darren Manning, Le Mans winner Guy Smith, ETCC ace Andy Priaulx, former BTCC champ James Thompson and DTM star Gary Paffett, and many more.

You can book your tickets for AUTOSPORT International in advance by calling the ticket hotline on 0870 902 0444 or by booking on line at www.autosport-international.com. Adults and children can visit both the show and the British Eurosport Live Action Arena at a cost of £17 for children under the age of 16 and £24 for adults.
