Dalziel gets PKV test
Toyota Atlantic runner-up Ryan Dalziel will take part in a two-day Champ Car test for PKV Racing Lola-Cosworth at Barber Motorsport Park next week

The 22 year-old Scot, twice a McLaren Autosport BRDC Award candidate, has finished second for the past two seasons in the Formula Atlantic Championship. Dalziel has driven a Champ Car before when he tested for Walker Racing at Sebring last December.
"I'm grateful to PKV Racing for giving me the opportunity to test with them," said Dalziel. "I'm looking forward to working with the team on what I'm sure will be a productive couple of days."
Dalziel is hoping to make the step into Champ Car for 2005, but he will be up against the 2003 F3000 Champion Bjorn Wirdheim, who has been Jaguar's third driver this year.
Dalziel is having a seat fitting with the team (owned by OWRS partner Kevin Kalkhoven) this week. Team regular Jimmy Vasser will be on hand to set benchmark times for the track, which PKV has not visited before.
