Close GT fight in Belgium

The Belgian round of the FIA GT championship looks like being a close fought affair, with the ORECA, GLPK and Konrad teams all evenly matched in opening practice.

By the end of the day, the works Lister Storm and the sole Roock Porsche had also joined the battle around the tight and unpopular Zolder circuit.

The Olivier Beretta/Karl Wendlinger ORECA Viper ended up fastest as usual, but the weight penalties applied to the ORECA cars appear to have closed the field up significantly.
