Brazilian results unchanged by FIA ruling
Even though the FIA's announcement today has changed the result of the Brazilian Grand Prix, the Autosport Fantasy Grand Prix points will remain unchanged
Rule 13 states that 'The results will be those taken from the actual finishing positions of the race. Subsequent protests and disqualifications will not affect the game results.'
This rule is in place to ensure that a swift result can be announced for the players. These disputes can sometimes run on for many months, which prolongs the uncertainty within the game and takes the fun out of it.
We also need to make sure that the many great prizes on offer find their new homes as soon as possible.
The manager of the winning team in the San Marino Grand Prix will take away a specially signed Jarno Trulli Renault F1 Team race suit, while the five runners up will each receive a signed cap.
There are more great prizes throughout the season including a signed Cristiano da Matta Toyota F1 race suit, car parts from B.A.R, a BMW WilliamsF1 Team garage tour at the British Grand Prix, an Oris Watch, a podium Jeroboam from Mumm and the list goes on.
Don't forget, we are also racing for the Championship prize of a luxury trip to the Malaysian Grand Prix plus a beach holiday. What could be better than combining a race at one of the world's best circuits, Sepang, with the nearby cosmopolitan city of Kuala Lumpur before enjoying luxury holiday on a tropical island?
