Bell in top 10 on TransAm debut
British sportscar driver Justin Bell, who has made the switch to TransAm for 2001, lines up 10th for his first race in the category. Bell's Chevrolet Corvette was 2.886s from the pole time of Boris Said III's Ford Mustang for the Sebring season-opener
Johnny Miller starts second, with Lou Gigliotti and Kenny Wilden filling the second row, ahead of the potent pairing of Paul Gentilozzi and Tommy Archer on row three of a 42-car grid for the revitalised series.
"This is a busy weekend, since I am running in three series," said Said. "The car's real fast and we have a really good motor. I'm just going to try to drive it wide open and go as fast as I can."
