EPIC! Neuville goes quickest, just when he needed it the most.

His lead rises to 5.9s.
Neuville is a couple of seconds up on Breen at the last split, so this looks like it will be close.
Mikkelsen is fourth quickest and loses time to Breen, so the Irishman will hold second here and extends the gap to 11.7s.
Paddon is the first German-built machine to arrive and he's sixth quickest, losing time to Ostberg who is only 2.3s behind the Kiwi driver. Paddon is holding a net fourth.

"It's far too close to be cautious," he says. "The car is setup too aggressively, it will come back to us this afternoon."
Breen is in and goes third quickest, 0.8s off Tanak.

"It's been a good morning," says Breen. A massive understatement.

But what of the Hyundais?
Neuville will be starting the stage shortly and is just 4.2s in the lead over Breen.
Rally jump fiend Mads Ostberg performs well over Colin's crest. Well on the stage too as he's fourth quickest and extends his gap over Esapekka Lappi to hold on to his net fifth position overall.

His works-Citroen debut is going well.
Suninen's struggle for pace continues as he's 11.6s adrift and slowest of all the regular WRC drivers so far. He loses eighth to Tanak.
Lappi goes fourth quickest and faster than team-mate Latvala.

He's 16.3s behind fifth place-man Ostberg.

"It's narrower than last year," says Lappi. "The time is not so good, not fast enough."
Latvala is in and he's 5.9s slower than his team-mate who he described as being "on the moon" earlier.

The gap between the two is just 8s now from over 20s at the start of the day. Latvala looks frustrated.

"I did a big mistake," says Latvala, describing what sounds like a small one. "The first proper corner I came far too fast. I lost a lot of time there."
An explanation as to why Ogier isn't being bested on this one from Tanak?

"A cool stage this one," Tanak says. "Looks like everyone is pulling snow onto the road so it might get tricky."
Tanak is quickest, but only by 0.3s this time over Ogier.
"There were a lot of snowbanks. I had a reasonable stage," says Meeke. "I have nothing really to fight for, I just need to keep it on the road and take some points."
Epic jump at Colin's Crest for Kris Meeke, he completes 3.3s slower than Ogier. It looks like this may be a titanic time from Ogier.
Evans arrives 8s slower than Ogier. It's been a tough morning.

"Not the best for us again," says Evans who complained of oversteer and understeer on the last test. "I'm hoping to find something. We don't seem to be able to find any speed."
Meeke, Latvala and Tanak are all in the stage. Predictably, Tanak is setting the pace although it's similar to Ogier.
"I had fun in the car," says Ogier. "it's a beautiful stage. I couldn't really do any better from this position [at the front of the order]."
Solberg completes and is laughing along, presumably after his pretty epic jump at Colin's Crest. That will take some beating, from the current World Rally Cars at least.

Ogier's effort is tame in comparison, but wise.
Solberg is impressive over Colin's Crest, that must have been close to 40 metres. Impressive.
Elfyn Evans is over four seconds down on team-mate Ogier at the first split alone. Unlikely we're going to see Evans retaking that 11th spot...
Ogier starts the stage and hits exactly the same snowbank as Solberg, probably harder. Lets hope it doesn't catch anyone out big time.
Henning Solberg gets us underway for SS11. Starts with a pretty major attack on a snowbank. Good work.

If you're waiting for Colin's crest, it's about seven miles into the stage.
Obviously this stage has Colin's Crest where rally-mad Eyvind Brynildsen broke the distance record last year. Will it be beaten?
Sorry, no rest for the wicked, we're almost straight into the Vargasen test. Here's Petter Solberg via David Evans to run you through what to expect.

SS11/14 Vargåsen 1 14.21km (8.83 miles)
"What can we say about this stage, it’s really a classic from Rally Sweden. It’s a great road with lots of medium and fast corners which really flow nicely. There’s also some nice up and down bits.
"Evans: do you mean undulations?
"Petter: I don’t know, do you think I mean undulations?
"Evans: yes.
"Petter: OK, we start that one again…

"There’s also some really nice undulations in this stage! Of course everybody knows this stage for Colin’s Crest, the big jump in the middle – this is a fantastic place with so many people and such an incredible feeling.

"When you are coming there, you can smell the fires and almost hear the people – it’s so colourful when you are flying through the air! You have to stay focused for the road though, there’s a quite tricky right-hander coming straight after the landing."
SS10:
1 Tanak
2 Latvala +4.3s
3 Lappi +4.4s
4 Breen +4.7s
5 Meeke +7.8s
6 Ostberg +8.7s

Overall after SS10:
1 Neuville
2 Breen +4.2s
3 Paddon +14.2s
4 Mikkelsen +14.4s
5 Ostberg +16.6s
6 Lappi +32.9s
7 Latvala +58s
8 Suninen +1m10.3s
9 Tanak +1m11.9s
10 Meeke +1m49.9s
11 Ogier +3m01.9s
12 Evans +3m04.7s
Neuville had a spin, as did Mikkelsen who "destroyed a snow bank" according to Neuville.

So both Hyundais spinning in the same area although Mikkelsen's time loss was greater and far more significant.
Neuville completes 9.3s slower than Tanak, so Craig Breen trails the lead of this rally by 4.2s now. Incredible stuff.
Onboard shows Neuville is using the paddleshift so that problem looks to have been sorted.
Mikkelsen also falls out of the top three as Paddon overtakes him.
Mikkelsen is in AND HE LOSES SECOND TO BREEN.

He's 18.5s adrift of Tanak on this stage, something must have happened to one half of Tom and Jerry here.
Paddon is seventh quickest, which means he won't be retaking third from Breen, as the gap is 10s.
Breen was just over three seconds down on Mikkelsen for second before this stage, but at the fourth split in this one Mikkelsen is over 10s down...
Breen is next and it appears Mikkelsen has dropped a bit of time. Could the Irishman be moving up? He's keeping the regular challengers honest.

He goes fourth quickest which will be enough to at least keep him in the podium spots. He's 4.7s down on the stage.
That's a good effort for Ostberg who needs to keep Lappi at bay. The gap is 16.3s now with Ostberg fifth fastest on this stage.
"That was a s**t stage for me," says Mr. Matter-of-fact Suninen. "I spun."

He's having a terrible morning, sorry M-Sport fans.
Suninen arrives and he's not in the same postcode as Lappi, so the latter is safe in sixth.

His pace means Latvala jumps him for seventh too, and a flying Tanak will fancy a go on the next stage.
Lappi is a tenth slower than Lavala and third quickest. He overtook Suninen for sixth on the last stage and is 20.6s behind Citroen man Mads Ostberg, at least until Ostberg finishes this stage anyway.

"I'm too careful," says Lappi. "I'm not brave enough." That's never usually a problem for the Finn.
Latvala drops 4.3s to Tanak and goes second quickest. His gap ahead of Tanak has eroded to 13.

"Ott is going very, very fast, I can't go much faster," says a surprised Latvala. "Ott is on the moon! I have to think about what I can do."
Nobody looks like they're on Tanak's pace on the splits. At the final split Tanak is five seconds up on Latvala.
